Ive been loving it for years!

Years ago I took a thorough look at all of the cataloging apps I could find. In the end I chose DVDpedia. I am still very happy with this program and it continues to surprise me (in a good way). Every time I think of something new I want to do with my data, I generally can find a way to do it with DVDpedia.
The really good, key features for me are the auto-incrementing CollectionID number and the fact that you can define custom fields with default values. You can also define a list of auto-fill values for all fields. In other words, you are not completely locked into the developers way of doing things. Also, some standard export options are provided so that your database doesnt get trapped in this program should it go away down the road. Unfortunately, the companion iOS app seems to have been abandoned. In spite of that, DVDpedia is a great app (and I rarely give glowing reviews.)
So far I have not seen any problems with the database conversion to version 5.
