Ecellent app

Ive been looking for a decent video catalog for a few years now. This one is a bit pricey (probably one of the main complaints about it). Other than that, its a great app. It has a slew of import options that worked without issue for me, auto-update features to about 15-20 external sites like The TVdB, The Movie Db, IMDB, etc.

The views are very iTunes like, with an easy search feature and a customizable toolbar. Also has loan options to track discs you loan out, and options to generate emails to those folks automatically or manualy reminding them of the loan.

From a support perspective, teh Buji folks are very responsive. They answer questions quickly and tend to address bugs quickly.

I do wisjh it would incorporate storage for the library in your cloud drive. It’s not very multi-computer friendly. Although it has a corresponding mobile app, you must sync the app with the primary mac while on the same wifi network. Sync options are not available at any other time. You also can’t manage your library from multiple computers which is a drawback.

Overall a great app. If you are looking for a video disc library software, this is the one that should fit your basic needs.

For the high price, and the lacking cloud features, I gave it a 4 out of 5.
